The King's High Tea

In the cosy setting of Maria’s Tea Room at Samlesbury Hall, sit and savour a delicious treat, including locally made fruit cake enjoyed by King Charles III himself when he visited the Hall in February ’26. With a lovely selection of sweet and savoury, all homemade in our kitchens for you to enjoy, of course with plenty of top-ups of loose leaf tea or filter coffee, and a drop of runny honey in your tea just like the King! On a sunny afternoon, enjoy in our beautiful Italianate courtyard by the fountain.

• ½ Lancashire cheese sandwich, with tomato & onion chutney
• ½ Roast ham & mustard mayo sandwich
• Pork sausage roll
• Scone with raspberry jam & clotted cream
• Fruit cake as enjoyed by King Charles III
